Social Worker Needed for Summer Job

The Welfare Administration is looking for social workers who want to work with us this summer in the areas of adults and financial assistance.

Every day, we work to ensure that the citizens of Örnsköldsvik have a better everyday life. We are responsible for the social services authority's operations for children and adults in need of support and protection. Around our caseworkers, there are also managers, case supervisors, administrators, business developers, and other support functions where we work together to provide our community members with the right support at the right time.

Job Responsibilities

As a summer substitute, you will support the operations with the following tasks:

• Investigations, decisions, and follow-up of support measures based on current legislation
• Assist the regular staff in ongoing work.

Qualifications

A degree in social work or ongoing studies in a social work program or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. For certain positions, completed field training is required.

Experience in authority operations, Procapita/Lifecare, and/or BBIC/IBIC is an advantage.

The need is greatest during weeks 28–32, and we therefore expect you to be able to work during this period as well.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
